Rev. Erika C. Jones is an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. She is the Church School Superintendent, Co-Youth Minister and Leader of the Corporate Prayer Ministry. She joined Metropolitan A.M.E. Church, Harlem, NY in 2007, was licensed to preach in 2012 and ordained as an Itinerant Elder in 2018.
Rev. Jones was born and raised in Fort Washington, MD. She has worked in television since graduating from Ohio University. She took a brief leave of absence from her career to pursue her Master of Divinity at Yale University and the Institute of Sacred Music. She received her call to ministry while serving at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Washington D.C. Prior to ordination, she served as a Steward and Church School teacher.

Rev. Harrison W. Lewis accepted his call to the ministry in 2011 and was ordained a Local Elder for Metropolitan in 2017. He is the minister of MMM (Metropolitan Men’s Ministry) and a Class Leader. He He has been a dedicated member of Metropolitan for over 25 years.
Rev. Lewis is a native of Georgetown, South Carolina and is the owner of a commercial cleaning and maintenance company. He is married and has 2 daughters and one grandson.

Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.’ God has been true to his promises.”
